Hammersmith BID's Arts Market is back next week, taking over the SOOK space on the ground floor of King Street's Livat, next to IKEA.

The market, showing off a diverse array of unique works produced by local creators, will be open from Tuesday 28 February till Thursday 2 March from 11am till 6pm and on Saturday and Sunday, March 4 and 5, again from 11 am till 6pm.

The market supports the shop local campaign run by Hammersmith BID, or Business Improvement District, the body which aims to improve Hammersmith town centre as a place to work, live and visit.

It will offer everything from art and fashion to lifestyle and homeware, with traders including Annalisa Bravetti, showing off vintage, retro and handmade jewellery; Yiola Georgiou, with bespoke jewellery designs; Milton Grubert, original paintings, drawings, giclée prints and handmade crafts; IMMY London, clothing and home accessories designed using batik patterns from Indonesia; Leda Grubert, unique sculptures and woven pictures made from felt; Natalia Bobrova, impressionistic paintings inspired by the Thames, its islands and bridges; Aline Kifl, African educational resources; Sabani Linens, luxury linen bedding and Saba Hammad, handmade colourful jewellery.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.

We've always done that and won't be changing, in fact we'd like to do more.

However, the readership that these stories generates is often below that needed to cover the cost of producing them. Our financial resources are limited and the local media environment is intensely competitive so there is a constraint on what we can do.

If neither of these amounts is suitable for you then contact info@neighbournet.com and we can set up an alternative. All payments are made through a secure web site.

One-off donations are also appreciated. Choose The Amount You Wish To Contribute.
