The doomed Hammersmith Palais has been the scene of another violent incident which may result in a man losing the sight in one of his eyse.

The unnamed eighteen year old man was out with a group of six friends on 4th February. They became involved in a confrontation with another group at about 1.30am inside the club. The victim was standing at the bar when a fight started. He went to help his friends but was punched in the side of the head by a person he didn't see.

The initial examination of his eye showed a laceration that may permanently affect his site or even lead to blindness in that eye.
