Detectives in Hammersmith are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault outside The Irish Cultural Centre on Blacks Road, W6 on Sunday 17th October which left a 16 year old boy critically ill in hospital.

Police were called at around midnight to reports of a stabbing and found the youth with a wound to his back. He was attended to by paramedics and it was found that he had a collapsed lung.

It is understood there was a large group of youths congregating outside when an altercation and then a fight broke out.
