Outspoken TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson caused a rumpus at Hammersmith bus garage last week when he launched a 'protest' against buses.

In what he claims was a parody of the protests made by environmental groups at the Land Rover factory in the West Midlands in which they hand-cuffed themselves to cars on the production line, the top-gear presenter held up a bus for 25 minutes whilst BBC camera crews film.

Clarkson argues that the pollution caused by buses is worse than that caused by 4x4s and therefore environmental groups should be targetting them instead.

The programme was broadcast last night despite claims that it breached BBC editorial guidelines.
