Big film nights are part of Hammersmith's Summer Festival
Grab a checkchair on the urban beach which has been created on Lyric Square and enjoy a free screening of James Cameron's smash hit film Avatar.
Avatar will be shown at two Big Film Nights, tonight, Thursday July 8 from 5.30pm till 8pm and on Saturday July 10 from 4pm to 6.30pm.
These Big Film Nights are the latest events in the HammersmithLondon Summer Festival, running throughout the summer in the town centre.
Also on now is the Free Outdoor Library on St Paul's Green, outside St Paul's Church, where local people are invited to relax between noon and 2pm daily from Monday to Saturday and take advantage of the free library, board games and book swapping, plus storytelling and reading aloud for kids.
There will also be a meeting of the I Love Books Club on the green on July 21 from 1pm to 2pm.
Still to come is Up On The Roof, an art exhibition showcasing local talent in the Lyric Hammersmith's Foyer and Roof Garden which begins with an evening of live music and refreshments on July 21 from 6pm.
