|Local Girl to Perform with Cracow Ballet Company|
Lizzie Taylor will dance at The Polish Centre in March
Lizzie Taylor, who grew up and studied in Chiswick, is to star with the Cracow Centre Ballet in a series of performances at the Polish Centre in Hammersmith in early March.
The Cracow Centre Ballet, a young, enthusiastic and colourful ballet theatre from Eastern Europe, features talented and professional classically trained dancers with a real passion for ballet.
Established in 2009 by former prima ballerina Svetlana Gaida, several dancers from Eastern Europe and England including top stars from Vilna - Miki Hamanaka and Aurimas Paulauskas - will perform at the Polish Centre in Hammersmith.
The dancers will perform a one act ballet called ‘Frolics’ in the first part of the evening, and the second part will feature excerpts from other famous and much-loved classical ballets. ‘Frolics’ takes its inspiration from the well-known Nutcracker story, set to the music of Tchaikovsky, that had its premier in 1892. A little girl finds herself in her room, playing with her toys, which magically come to life.
