Detectives investigating the murder of a woman in the Barons Court area are working with Polish authorities to extradite a man arrested in Warsaw in connection with the offence.

34 year old Michelle Creed was found dead on 5th February at an address in Comeragh Road, West Kensington. Police had been called following concerns for the welfare of a resident and they found the body after forcing entry into the property.

On 9 February, a 36 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in Warsaw, Poland, after attending a police station. Subsequently, a European Arrest Warrant was obtained.

He remains in custody at this time, whilst extradition proceedings to bring him back to the UK are underway.

Officers from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command are investigating.
