Police say they are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of an elderly local woman.

Zainab Mohammed, 77, was last seen by her family leaving Hammersmith bus station to go to Shepherd's Bush Mosque at 4pm on Wednesday, March 19.

She was expected to return that evening to her home on the White City Estate in Shepherd's Bush.

CCTV footage shows Zainab boarding a 295 bus at 7.39pm at Hammersmith and Fulham bus garage. The bus was travelling towards Ladbroke Grove.

Zainab suffers from Alzheimer's disease and may become confused.

She was also carrying a beige handbag. Anyone with information is asked to call Hammersmith and Fulham CID on 07901 515 793 or call the police non-emergency line on 101 quoting 14MIS009368.
