New tenant being sought for High Road premises
The Bardolino restaurant and bar on Chiswick High Road has closed.
The New-York-style Italian restaurant had replaced Frankies, which was owned by high-profile jockey Frankie Dettori and Marco Pierre White.
Speculation about the future of Bardolino had increased recently as it did not reopen after Christmas. It was said to be undergoing a refurbishment. The restaurant was named after a village near Venice, and mixed traditional Italian dishes with American favourites.
The lease on the bar and restaurant, which includes a south-facing garden terrace of 1100 square feet is on sale and is being handled by The Leisure Partnership which specialises in buying and selling fine-dining restaurants in central London.
A new 15-year lease at a rental of £85,000 is being offered. The restaurant and bar comprises 3,700 square feet .
Alex Hill of The Leisure Partnership commented:
“The site has the best garden terrace in the whole of Chiswick and we think it will attract a high quality restaurateur.”
