Ravenscourt Park "duck" pond

We're all agreed that Ravenscourt park is one of the best family open-spaces in London, right?   So should we really have to put up with the appalling standard of the "duck" pond?  It is full of litter, stagnant, weed-choked but most importantly, has become infested with RATS.  They no longer scamper away when you approach ... they now come out to see if there is food to be had.  I feel really sorry for the water birds that are there ... their habitat has been completely dominated by those big bullies, the canada geese, as well as pidgeons, squirrels and other vermin.  Surely it's due for a make-over.Sophie

Try Lucy Ivimy, the newly elected local councillor for Ravenscourt Park. She's a Friend of the Walled Garden (volunteers who have helped turn around the walled garden) and should be able to help.

I entirely agree,especailly re Canada Geese, they are vermin, and are rapidly pushing out the native "Water Birds".Why dosn't the council have a Cull on these ugly & dirty excuses for Geese.
