Tesco Development on King Street?
I'm a little confused - I thought the planning application for a new Tesco development involving the cinema and adjacent buildings on King Street had been turned down yet I was informed a couple of days ago by one of Tesco's own store designers that plans are still very much in place to redevelop the site. Have they indeed been granted planning permission to build something, even if not a superstore? And will this development still affect local businesses and amenities, as my source seemed to imply?
