So what/where are the best things in LBH&F? (Parks, restaurants, shops, schools...anything worth mentioning). Any little gems you'd like to share with us?

Best thing? Concern for the elderly - a plug for the department Better Goverment for Old People and the event "Time of Your Life" which got their feet tapping.

The people. Diverse and interesting. And particularly friendly and neighbourly where I live.

I love the new York Stone pavements on King Street - just wish we could ban chewing gum so that it won't be spoiled as it has been in Shepherd's Bush.I also love the new fountains in Lyric Square and the joy they have given to so many children through the summer - not sure how the mothers feel!!!
