Barnes Station

I have just witnessed an horrific road traffic accident on the road outside Barnes Staion. A train was halted at Barnes Station & not continuing. A busy train dicharged it's passengers with most making their way up to the road to catch buses. The road is small & badly lit & if you don't know the area it looks like a quiet lane without a pavement. Someone tonight was badly hurt by a fast moving car coming over the brow of the bridge not aware of a train load of passengers trying to get buses home.THIS DANGEROUS AREA NEEDS MORE WARNING GIVEN TO CAR DRIVERS & TRAIN PASSENGERS!!

I agree, Eddie.  I have changed buses there en route to Kingston and it was an accident waiting to happen.  Whether there is space to put in a controlled crossing is doubtful.  Do hope the person is OK.    No doubt this horrific accident will have alerted the powers to be that something should be done before another similar incident.
