Dear All,On Wednesday I had to have my cat Jess put to sleep as she was very poorly, I miss her so much as she was my best mate.My flat is noDear All,On Wednesday I had to have my cat Jess put to sleep as she was very poorly, I miss her so much as she was my best mate.My flat is now empty without her except when the kids come on wk-ends!I am now looking for a new cat now but as I am on the sick I cant afford much!I have tried HAWS and mayhew but they charge to much and as I said I am regst Disabled.If you know anyone who has a cat or preferably kitten they no longer want please ask them to contact me please..Thank youSimon

Sorry to hear about your loss, Simon.I thought cats/kittens from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home were free, but it turns out they cost £40 which includes:    * a microchip    * free ID disc    * neutering or a neutering voucher    * a starter pack of food    * health check, vaccinations and certificates    * three months' outpatient treatment at Battersea    * access to the Behaviour Hotline.Have a look at their website, www.dogshome.org, and if you decide to get a new kitten from them, I'll send you £10 towards the cost. You never know, some of the others on this forum may chip in too!
