Excellent local hairdresser
If anyone is looking for a good local hairdresser, I'd heartily recommend Hair Teknik on Askew Road. Great cuts and colour by Jenny, one of the friendly owners, and a lovely, low-key atmosphere. Kids' haircuts Monday-Thursday and everyone gets a lollipop, regardless of age or gender. It's the sort of place where you can either chat or sit silently with a magazine and nobody minds.
