Would it be possible to buy a three bed, two recep semi or terraced house, in reasonable condition, for £500k or less, in a quiet(ish) enclave in Hammersmith and reasonably near good transport?

Sorry £350-375 per week.....obviously!

Does anybody know of a smart two double bedroom flat for about £350-£375 (or cottage) with decent entertaining space near Brackenbury/Ravenscourt Park/Stamford Brook/Wendell Park for rent preferably from a private landlord or somebody who is going away for a year? If anyone does it would be marvellous. Thank you.
Anywhere in London is probably too expensive to find a "Sarah Beaney treasure"!

Always on the lookout for a nice development earner Lynn! You never know, there might be a Sarah Beaney treasure out there.

I thought Gerry was in Ealing - rather more bosky than Hammersmith.

I think he's just trying to stimulate a sluggish forum Lynn....

Are you thinking of moving then, Gerry? I got the impression you were entrenched in Northfields!

Well done Gerry!

"If Chiswick is a possibility I always thought those roads leading off Duke Road look promising."The Glebe estate, as it's sometimes called. But advertised prices are above £500K these days, generally £530-585K.

Try the east side of Askew Road.

The little roads leading north off Uxbridge Road are pretty well priced - but the tram plans are a threat. If Chiswick is a possibility I always thought those roads leading off Duke Road look promising.
