Anyway know why the 94 has been diverted through Askew Road. Is it due to Thames water again?

Jim. WONDERFUL. How I hanker for those days when you could jump on and off the 88 when it stopped at traffic lights or was stuck in a traffic jam. Now we just boil to death in the sealed can of a 94.

My god, of course I remember the 88 to Oxford Circus.........how could I forget, blimey the grey cells are waking up!!The 666.........no I was just curious if there really was a bus journey to/from hell..........I'll get my coat!
The 666..wasn't that the dear old Trolleybus to Finchley or somewhere north. Yes I'll have a look. Colin Vaughan will be over here soon as he likes trolleys, buses and trains! Was this once your bus home after a trip to town? My dad worked for London Transport for some 40 years...and he could travel old over the place free of charge. No wonder he went out a lot!
Is there a 666 bus route............????????
""Do you make a habit of standing in front of buses? It is a bit on the dangerous side you know:-)""Lol..I'm up a ladder and suppose to be cleaning the lamp-posts ;0)ooooPerhaps you needed to catch the No 88 at Acton Green to be sure of a seat..and if you fell asleep..you might end up in Banstead .on Epsom Downs! Wasn't it a long route. Sadly missed it seems. 88 was always associated with Acton Green in my mind!

Carol,If you hang on a moment..there's a red one coming along!!
Welcome............it does look nice but still prefer the old style one behind it!
It looks pretty! No 94.This is my maiden posting on W6..hope you don't mind!
I had a look at Transport for London and they reckon that the diversion will be on for 'about 3 weeks from 31st August'. So, October sounds about right.

Just had a look at the LBH&F website for roadworks and the ones down that part of Goldhawk road, where it is closed off, do not appear to be listed! It does say tho that the other roadworks in that area are due to continue until beginning October!

Thanks Carol. I will use my normal stop tomorrow rather than throw myself in front of it at the Co-op in the hopes that it will stop.
It is still going up Askew Road, not sure it is stopping to pick passengers up but you can request to get off
Is the 94 still going up the Askew Road? And if it is, does it stop to pick passengers up outside the Coop?
Coming from Shepherds Bush Green towards Chiswick the 94 runs normal, sorry no idea how long as does not appear to be any signs saying anything

The driver announced that the diversion would last three weeks. The traffic was only crawling along Askew road - at least added 10 mins to the journey. That's the extent of my knowledge.

Mmm, I took the tube into Oxford Circus today as I saw the signs that Goldhawk Rd is closed. Am I right to understand that traffic going wetsbound along Goldhawk is unaffected ?Also, I don't suppose you know when things will be back to normal ?

Goldhawk Road is closed near Shepherds Bush market because of the water mains work, it is ok going the other way tho.
