William, you said that you use Picasa. Have you tried Picasa Web Albums? That would probably be the easiest way to get your photos on to the web, which is where they need to be if you want to include them in forum messages.Once you have a photo in a web album, display it on the screen, then right-click anywhere on the image, then select Properties. Amongst the information, you'll see the URL (web address, or "Location" in Firefox). Copy the whole of that, starting with http://, and ending (for Picasa Web Albums) with something like .jpg?imgmax=912Then, in your new forum message, on a new line type<img src="then paste the URL of the photo, and immediately follow it with:"> then continue on a new line.Make sure that there are no spaces anywhere in this, except for the one after <img. Don't worry if it won't all fit on one line.Note that because of a bug in the Forum software, this won't work in the first message of a thread, though omitting the quote marks at both ends of the URL sometimes gets round the bug. There's lots more for Jim to teach you, but you might like to try it, perhaps on the Wandsworth site which we use for testing.I'll try one (not my photo) from a Picasa Web Album to make sure that these direct links do work from Picasa ...
