Trick or Treat?

So what will you do if you get asked tonight?  Brussel sprouts covered in chocolate is one thought................or was thinking could ansa the door stark naked, that will be one treat they won't forget in a hurry!

And no one came to us either when we were in, though we were out between 6.30 and 7.00 and by the looks of the little sticky finger prints on the door letter box, that was vampire rush hour.  Anyone want some ghoulish sweets?

I just spoke to the sergeant in charge of my ward's Safer Neighbourhood Team who said that his whole team had been assembled tonight and were all going out to try to keep the peace during Halloween.I would be very interested to hear any stories anyone has tomorrow about their local police's effectiveness in dealing with nuisance trick-or-treaters!

It's very sad that people should be cowering at the back of their houses with their lights off to avoid trick-or-treaters. One solution would be to stick a sign on your door...or would that just be ripped off in annoyance?One thing for certain is that anyone having real problems tonight should ring the police immediately.

Actually that is what I will be doing, sad tho it is don't trust what some will get up to at this time of year

Think I'll go for the old fashioned reaction and have my bowl of nasty looking (but taste ok) sweeties ready.  One year told off two youths who came aknocking around 8.45 for bursting the halloween balloons we had put out.  Gave them sweets and then had eggs thrown at the front door.  So, we turn the lights out at 7 (when all tiny ones should be home and in bed) and retire to the back to the house.
