Illegal dumping on Askew Road

On Saturday, I walked up from Cobbald Road to the Askew road and noticed that someone had practically dumped what seemed to be the whole contents of a flat on the side of the payment. It would be great if this new 24 hour policing could clamp down on such behaviour.John

The new 24 hour policing doesn't cover Askew ward. It only covers Shepherds Bush and Fulham Broadway wards.However, you can call the Council's Smarterborough Hotline on 020 8753 1100 and they will remove the fly tip.

Which reminds me, saw dumped bed filling up half the pavement in Rylett Road this morning as I walked to the tube.  Off to the lbhf website NOW.

We've had rubbish collected within 24hrs....Our weekly sweeping of the gutters is brilliant - when we lived in LB Hounslow, we were lucky to get a couple of leaf clearances a year - usually just before the autumn and in the spring...

John,Have you emailed the council about it?  I have used their website a couple of times about fly tipping, and the road has been cleared within 24 hours or 48 at the latest.
