I am trying to hold you to account. I'm doing so in this thread because I think a little less self-congratulation and a bit more explanation is in order. The fact that you prefer to tell me off rather than answer specific questions won't stop me asking them. I don't know what you promised at the election because, like most people, I didn't see the election manifestos. All I can see - and I've learned it from this very helpful Forum - is that you're cutting services to the most vulnerable for a pointless council tax cut which you refuse to justify in figures. Mark says the cut helps those on low incomes, but none of you will explain you mean by that - can we see some figures, please? As for your manifesto, did it really say you were going to charge the elderly £200 a year for meals on wheels, restrict home help criteria, cut the play and youth services and close mental health daycare facilities? I'd really appreciate a straight answer to these questions, please, i.e. figures for the first and a yes or no for the second. Many thanks.
