London Crime Figures at eight year low

To get authoritative answers to the points you raise, please try to come to the next meeting of the H&F Community Safety Board on 22nd May from 6.30 - 8.30 pm at Hammersmith Town Hall.John Kennedy has already kindly said that he will try to attend. It seems such a pity to miss the opportunity to question the Borough Commander and the Cabinet Member for Crime and Anti-social Behaviour if people are genuinely interested in these matters.I sometimes feel that we can only start to improve our local environment by creating communities and communication through things like this forum and Community Safety Board meetings.

Another report called the British Crime Survey also shows that crime is falling and this based on interviewing people about the crime they have experienced whether they reported it or not.The difficulty of getting through to local stations may mean crime is undereported a bit but serious crime is falling as well as the stuff you might try and phone up to report not using 999.

I think this is because it is so difficult to report crime, not because crime isnt happening
