Dog poo

Is it just me (well not literally I hasten to add!) but has anybody else noticed more and more dog poo on the pavements?  Walking to work this morning I noticed at least 3 instances, couple of which looked like they had been walked the length of the pavement!

Perhaps Hammersmith dogs are larger and so, consequently, are their poos? Perhaps people are just not so into poop-scooping?  Perhaps it's seasonal?
