Discussion about the next Quiz.

Let's start a new Quiz soon..but it doesn't have to be:Hammersmith Quiz.It could be:Just: "Quiz!"or "West London Quiz"Hammersmith and Chiswick QuizHammersmith and PutneyHammersmith and Kensington etc etcMaybe we can all be questionmasters?Let's discuss before we move on.There is no doubt that the number of visitors to this website has increased during the last couple of weeks with these Quizzies no doubt being an attraction of sorts.Have your say.  I'm an interloper from Isleworth!!..

All good points Stephen.Maybe having launched the West London we should see how we get on.Anyone can still ask Hammersmith and Fulham questions..and Shepherds bust and Kensington too!I'm a Chiswickian living in Isleworth, Caroline and Marlene are Askey Road way, Iain maybe Acton, Now where is Jo based?!! ;o)I must admit I was finding it hard to create more questions..having thought up nearly 60 over the period.  By the way, the Chiswick quizzes went well ..but not so the one in Brentford!! Can't remember if we ever did an Ealing one..but over there they are always asking questions!Must go to bed..it's nearly 2am!

I'm attracted to the quiz because it tells me so much about a place I love even though I've been away for over 50 years. During the war years and my RAF service years Hammersmith was always on my mind.I don't know how many of the those who took part in the quiz live away from Hammersmith but for me a Hammersmith related quiz will keep me coming back for more.I realise that as a Hammersmith quiz progresses then it must become harder to get questions, but something that's been on the map since 1746, at least, must have a plenty to offer.I can see the point of adding another borough - Shepherds Bush, Kensington etcThemes could be a  way of giving direction - Street names, Waterside activities, transportation, business', associations - all of these figured in the previous quizes in some way and very interesting the items were.I'm just typing off the top of my head hoping for somrthing to come.steve

Jim, congratulations in increasing use of the Hammersmith site, 183 posts is great but mainly from the same people, quite a few of which (including me)are from other sites. I don't know how we can get all the sites as popular and well used as ChiswickW4. I presume the editors share experiences?In the meantime a West London quiz is as good an idea as any!Iain
