Missing Ginger Cat

Our cat has been missing since Friday 25th July.  We back on to Ravenscourt Park.He is a fluffy Ginger Tom with a bushy tail, quite large and friendly.We miss him very much, so if you have seen him please call07505 040 651.I have a JPEG photograph of him if anyone would like to see - I am not sure whether I can post it on this site, so any technical advice gratefully received.Thank you.

Hello Jeff, I only saw your message last night about your cat, and I would like to add my sympathy on the death of your cat, a similar thing happened to my cat, (Mr Fluffy)although it was a stray cat I still loved him and fed him, I do have a cat of my own and look after 6 other cat's, which are all stray's, but I love them all.

We all regret your story did not have a happy ending and I was very moved by your heartfelt message to all of us who like you love and care for our cats and care for others as well. It is always tragic to lose a beloved family pet but you hit the right note when you described how helpful and thoughtful others can be.

Sadly, this afternoon a neighbour found the body of Cal, our fluffy ginger cat, in her drive.  It looks as though he was hit by a car and dragged himself to the nearest shelter.  He will be greatly missed.Thank you so much to all the kind people who have posted, called, e-mailed and watched out for him.  He gave us a great deal of pleasure, but in this last week he also helped reinforce our view that, despite what the news tells us, we live in a society with a lot of very  thoughtful and caring people.  That’s quite a message for a two year old Ginger Tom to have impressed upon the world, or at least Hammersmith and Chiswick.

I live in Flora Gardens, the side opposite the Thatched House pub,  so am keeping an eye out but just one thing........what is his name, can't seem to find it in a posting????????

Sadly not.  I put more posters up around the areas of possible siting, though.  The trouble is, of course, that the world (including Hammersmith) is full of ginger toms, so it may have been a false lead.  But always worth checking out and sharing I feel.  If there is good news, I'll definitely share that!  Thanks for your interest.

He’s still missing, but today (Mon 4/8) I received two possible sitings which, if it’s him, means he’s crossed the Great West Road (I hope using the underpass).  A fluffy ginger cat has been seen around the new Pump House housing development – bounded by the Great West Road (Hammersmith end), the River (near The Old Ship pub) and South Black Lion Lane, W6.  The other report was further towards Hammersmith on the River, near The Dove pub.  My number is 07505 040 651.  A reminder of what he looks like below.  Lastly, many, many thanks to all the kind people who are looking out for him, have offered really helpful advice, and are reporting sitings.
