Rubbish in Lyric Square

Lyric Square - Hammersmith's flagship urban space - is looking squalid.I came by there this morning and one of the wheelie bins had been overturned, there were bags of rubbish piled up, juices from the bins had stained the paving and the north end of the square was looking disgusting. The north end is used as a rubbish tip on a daily basis - why?I would like the wheelie bins (and any rubbish bags) to be placed beside no.1 Lyric Square (round the corner on the NW side), and the paving in the square to be scrubbed at regular intervals.I don't think this is too much to ask - what do others think?

Seems to have improved markedly. Last night no bins on show and hardly any litter. Someone maybe listening to us.

There may not be much we can do about litter blowing through - the square is a wind funnel. When the trees grow up it may make a bit of difference. I'd also like to see a line of trees along the southern edge with the pavement. It would improve the look of King St a great deal, give shade to Lyric Square (it's a furnace during a heatwave)and filter and clean the air.In the meantime you're right. Let's press for a daily clean.

Agreed. It also seems to be a bit of a litter trap with the wind blowing rubbish through it on a regular basis. It is starting to look tatty already. It can't take much to make sure it is given a bit of a clean once a day.
