Traffic chaos tomorrow - Thursday 30th

Where I work we have just been issued with the following warnings....Please be aware that there could be severe travel disruption tomorrow (30th October), linked to the opening of the Westfield Shopping Centre opposite TVC.  It's expected that shoppers will arrive and start queuing from 08:00.  The Centre opens at 09:00-22:00.The Police have advised us that if there are large numbers of crowds (could be up to 170,000 over the course of the day), both tube and road access in the immediate area will be affected.TUBE: Wood Lane and White City tube stations may be closed, though we expect Shepherds Bush, Shepherds Bush Market and Goldhawk Road to remain open.ROAD: Wood Lane proper may be closed off at South Africa Road and at Shepherds Bush Green

Have been hearing about the traffic chaos and a couple of stations had to be closed due to overcrowding.  Guess that was to be expected, first weekend of opening.  Let's see what it is like in 6 months.
