Earth Hour - Saturday 8.30pm
See WWF message below. We are looking forward to spending an hour on Saturday night playing candle-light games and writing in lights. It’s a small amount of effort on our part but one where the impact could be huge. Imagine 1bn people switching off their lights simultaneously for one hour! The kids are looking forward to seeing London without the light haze so I am hoping as many neighbours as possible will take part. From WWF Earth Hour website:At 8.30pm on 28 March, we're hoping that a billion people will take part in WWF's Earth Hour by switching their lights off for an hour. In doing so, we'll show world leaders that they have to take real action to tackle climate change.WWF's Earth Hour is going to be the biggest mass participation event in history. And to be part of it, you just need to click on the link below and sign up. If you don't, you can still take part but we won't be able to add your voice to the millions of others who have already shown that they care.If you are someone who cares about the planet and the fact that climate change is pushing species towards extinction and threatening the livelihoods of millions of people then you are the kind of person, in fact, who might be able to help us.So please take two minutes to get involved and we'll keep you updated on the big event.SIGN ME UP! http://www.wwf.org.uk/how_you_can_help/earthhour/signup/
