Postal Deliveries in Hammersmith

Is anyone else fed up with the deterioration of the postal delivery service in Hammersmith.  The post turns up at a different time every day, though rarely before noon, we often get our neighbours' post and vice versa and the delivery staff are unrecognisable, not appearing to wear a single item of uniform.  The latter point I could live with, if only the post arrived earlier.  Who can I complain to?

I have to say that on the whole in the Wendell Road area, things have settled down and we are not encountering the problems of last year.  And we are getting to know our new postmen (there do seem to be more than one regular one).

I have written to the Royal Mail 3 times now about the pathetic delivery service in my street.  I either get the whole street's post through my door or no post for a fortnight!  I too have a postman who appears to turn up at completely random times, with no uniform and he can't speak English.  I have now been fined twice for late payment of bills as I never actually received the bills.  My complaints to Royal Mail appear to be a bog standard letter saying that the matter will be taken up with the sorting office manager blah blah blah and then they give you a free book of stamps and wish you well .... absolutely nothing has changed in the last 6 months.  Although I have agreed with my neighbours, as we are so fed up with this, that rather than us delivering our own mail to each other any post that we receive that is not meant for us we put back in the post box marked 'Delivered to incorrect address'.  Our logic being that the sorting office 'manager' might bother to do something about it if the volume of post they are having to deal with suddenly increases dramatically.  Failing that I think they should be stripped of their Royal charter because they clearly take no pride whatsoever in what they are meant to do!
