Secrets

Every time I go past this place I wonder how it could be that such an establishment could get permission to set up in what is a residential area. Does anyone know the history of this place - weren' there any objections to it being put there?

I tried the Stonemason's but was driven out by the music - as with the Thatched Cottage. It's back to the Andover for me which is still, mercifully, music free, and a real locals' pub.  As to Secrets - well - chacun à son goût.

It was a gay bar (and formerly the Royal Oak pub) before it was Secrets.
