Festival
2004 started on Saturday 3rd April with a range of entertainment
and activities for all the family.
The
fortnight-long annual festival offers music, sports, arts, cultural
and children's events for residents and visitors to the borough.
Highlights from Saturday 3 April- Saturday 10 April include:

Here Comes Everyone! - a continuous programme of free performances
and installations at the Lyric theatre (3 - 4 April)

Big Gig's Little Brother - local acoustic musicians, poets and
performers strut their stuff with comments from a 'Pop Idol'
style panel (7 April)

The Best Comes to the West - performances from comics Geoff
Schumann (BBC London 94.9FM presenter), Felicity Ethnic and
Donna Spence and musicians Mica Paris and Roachford (8 April)

Middle Eastern food walking tour - exploration of little-known
food shops, bazaars and eateries of Uxbridge Road (3 April)

QPR holiday soccer school - football training for children from
Queen's Park Rangers (5 April- 8 April)

St Paul's Church evening concert - music by candlelight in an
historic building in the centre of Hammersmith (3 April)
