Fears over safety during the firefighters' strike prompted Hammersmith and Fulham's Council to drop catering facilities, amid fears over the danger from gas cylinders in fast food vans. Local Councils were also concerned over legal and insurance liability should injuries occur at a display during a strike. But the first two 48-hour fire strike, on 29-31 October and on 2-4 November, are cancelled and the Bonfire Night will run as planned. Hammersmith and Fulham staff is designing a superb display to celebrate Bonfire Night. The fireworks are being designed to music creating a magical and evocative experience.
