Police asks residents to be extra vigilant.
Over the past 5 weeks, Hammersmith and Fulham Police have been undertaking an operation to combat Motor Vehicle Crime in the Borough. During this time, 98 individuals have been arrested and there has been a 31% reduction in crime.
Police is asking the public to be extra vigilant and ensure your car does not become a target: Don’t leave articles on view especially mobile phones, laptops, bags and jackets.
Police are using a number of techniques to combat motor vehicle crime including pro-active operations and surveillance in hotspot areas. Those engaged in Motor Vehicle Crime, Police says, will be targeted arrested and charged.
