Hammersmith Gridlock Follows Delivery Lorry Crash
Hammersmith Bridge Road down to one lane near flyover
A collision between a supermarket delivery lorry and a white van is causing severe delays in Hammersmith this morning (9 May).
The crash occurred sometime before 8.15am on the Hammersmith Bridge Road southbound near St Paul’s Green just before it passes under the flyover.
The road was initially fully closed but now one lane has reopened but there are substantial traffic jams across the area. Bus travel times are reported to be an hour longer than normal.
At this time nobody is reported to have been seriously hurt in the collision.
