Hammersmith is set to welcome the summer season with its Summer Street Festival, returning to King Street this Saturday, (7 June). The annual event is expected to attract thousands of visitors once again, transforming the town centre into a vibrant, traffic-free celebration of local talent, creativity, and community spirit.

This year’s festival will feature over 100 pop-up stalls offering a wide array of goods, including arts, crafts, jewellery, vintage items, candles, home accessories, and cupcakes. The heart of Hammersmith will be alive with colour and creativity as traders and creators from across the borough showcase their work.

In addition to the bustling marketplace, Lyric Square will be home to an international food quarter complete with a comfortable seating area where guests can relax and enjoy a variety of culinary delights. The event will also feature live music, children's workshops, and street entertainment, ensuring there is something for all ages to enjoy.

The festival will run from 11:00am to 7:00pm on the day.

To accommodate the festival, King Street (including the cycle lane) will be closed to all traffic from the Hammersmith Gyratory to Bridge Avenue between 4:00am and 11:00pm on 7 June.

Bus routes will be diverted as follows:

Routes 110, 190, 267, H91, N9 & N11: Diverted via Shepherds Bush Road, Goldhawk Road, Paddenswick Road, and Dalling Road before returning to King Street.

Routes 218, 306 & N266: Diverted via Shepherds Bush Road, Goldhawk Road, and Askew Road.

Route 27: Will terminate at Hammersmith Bus Station and will not serve King Street or Glenthorne Road.
