Chauffeur Robbed Near TK Maxx


Threatened with knife while waiting in Merc for boss

A chauffeur was robbed at knife point by four men whilst waiting for his employer behind TK Maxx on Blacks Road.

The incident took place on 18th October at around 5pm. The victim, a 44 year old man, had dropped of his boss at around 4.00pm and parked near the junction with Angel Walk. He stated that he sat in the vehicle a Silver Mercedes S Class Saloon and waited. The vehicles doors were unlocked and he was sitting in the drivers seat with the window fully down and keys in the ignition

After about an hour the first suspect approached the nearside of the vehicle and got into the front passenger seat of the car. He produced a diver's style knife with a black handle and serrated blade and placed it to his neck. At which point the other three suspects came around to the open window of the drivers side and began to search his pockets taking the stated property before making off. Suspects then made off, two going towards the A4 whilst the other two headed towards King Street.

The first suspect is described as a white male aged around 28 years, 6ft 6in tall with brown-cropped hair wearing a brown leather jacket. The other suspects were all male and white and aged around 25 years old. One had short blonde hair and was around 6ft tall, another was around 5ft 10in and wore a blue polo shirt.
