Police Make Hammersmith Arrest in Mayfair Bouncer Investigation
23-year-old being held on suspicion of murder and violent disorder

Police investigating the murder of Tudor Simionov on New Year’s Day have arrested a 23-year-old man in Hammersmith and are holding him on suspicion of murder and violent disorder.
The unnamed man was one of three arrests that have taken place this Tuesday (29 January). A 25-year-old man presented himself at a central London police station on Monday evening and was put under arrest the next day. A 23-year-old man was arrested during a dawn raid at a property in Brent. Upon sighting police he attempted to run away but was detained by a police dog. He is currently receiving treatment for injury to his leg which was sustained after he jumped from a window. His condition is not serious and he remains in custody.
25-year-old Ahmed Munajed from Hammersmith has been previously been charged with violent disorder in connection with the case. A 26-year-old woman was charged with perverting the course of justice.
Detectives are still appealing for information to help trace 25-year-old Ossama Hamed from Fulham and 23-year-old Nor Aden Hamada. They have described both men as ‘dangerous individuals’ and ask anyone who makes a sighting of either to call 999.

Mr Simionov was acting as security for a private party on Park Lane when an altercation developed outside the event and he was called to the front door. It is alleged that a group of men were trying to gain access to the party. Snapchat footage filmed just before his death shows Mr Simionov pushing away a group of nine men who were trying to get access to the house. Moments later he was stabbed in the chest.
Three of his colleagues were injured including one woman. They have all since been released from hospital.
Ealing-based Imran Mostafa Kamel, the 26-year-old son of imprisoned radical Islamic preacher Abu Hamza, was charged with firearms offences by officers investigating the murder but they say that his arrest was unconnected with the events on Park Lane. He is currently on remand in Wandsworth prison and due to appear in court at the end of this month.
Detective Inspector Garry Moncrieff of the Homicide and Major Crime Command said, "Our investigation continues to move at pace. We now have three arrests for murder and a woman charged with perverting the course of justice and a man charged with violent disorder.
"The three men will now be questioned by investigators. However, we will not stop until we have apprehended all those who have played a part in Tudor's murder. Two other men sought remain at large.
"Ossama Hamed and Nor Aden Hamada are dangerous individuals who need to be apprehended. I would urge anyone who has seen them, or knows of their whereabouts, to contact police immediately.
"These are live lines of enquiry, therefore I am not willing to speculate on where they may be but rest assured we are working with colleagues to ensure that if they are in this country, or overseas, we will track them down.”
