Local children visit No. 10 for tea


And discover what Cherie Blair keeps in her biscuit tin!

Six children from local schools Phoenix High and Wormholt Park, were invited to Downing Street for tea with Cherie Blair.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As well as finding out what sort of chocolate biscuits Mrs Blair likes to serve, the children got a rare glimpse behind the scenes at Britain's most famous address.

Chosen by their schools for their contribution during the year, the six lucky children, were accompanied by their parents, and local MP Andrew Slaughter, who asked the schools to nominate children for the treat.
