This is an incredible news from Sinclair Road Residents Association (SRRA) newsletter:

"First spotted on June 28 by a Sinclair Road resident, a Muntjac deer has apparently found a temporary home in the Olympia woodland; he/she was sighted again from the Russell Gardens Mews on the 29th, ambling (albeit 'nervously', according to the spotter) on the tarmac close to the shrubbery growing at the back of No. 98 Sinclair Road.

SRRA immediately contacted the RSPCA, and is still awaiting a response. If anything, the presence of such an animal on the site proves that the famous 'stepping stones' of the LBHF Green Corridor do fulfil their role in enabling wildlife to find their way through our city.
