"Simple changes can save you money", says Paula White of HFFoE.
Hammersmith and Fulham Friends of the Earth (HFFoE) are calling on local people to support Energy Efficiency Week (25-31st October).
The nationwide campaign which first started last year is aimed at combating climate change and reducing the carbon dioxide emissions which cause it by making people think about how energy efficient their homes are.
"Whether it's having cavity insulation installed, putting an insulating jacket on your hot water tank or using energy efficient light bulbs there is something we can all do to help combat climate change which is playing havoc with our weather and threatening the future of the whole planet," says HFFoE co-ordinator Paula White "The great thing is that by making these simple changes you can also save yourself quite a bit of money as well. Grants are available in many cases."
Energy Efficiency Week is organised is by an independent group called the Energy Saving Trust, the week will include campaigns and advice.
