Guardian reporter Rob Evans will discuss his book about the work of officers who investigated animal rights campaigners, environmentalists, anti-racist organisations and others by creating new identities and living among them.

Nicholas Ageridis, chair of Amnesty International’s Hammersmith & Fulham group, said the talk will look at the balance between security and civil liberties.

The talk will take place at Latymer Upper School in King Street, Hammersmith on Tuesday 15 September.

Tickets cost £5 for the event which runs from 7.30 to 9pm and can be bought online through Eventbrite.co.uk.
