Solo show of paintings by Marise Rose at Hepsibah Gallery

A Solo Show of paintings by Marise Rose will be at Brackenbury Road's new Hepsibah Gallery from 21st September.

Her new collection looks at surf, rockpools, sand ripples, beaches and natural forms.

Working with grit, glue, sand and acrylics the abstracted seascapes lie in a world that is both familiar and haunting.

"I combine different painting techniques with texture and form playing with perspective to create pieces that lie somewhere between sculpture and painting"

Hepsibah Gallery recently opened in Hammersmith, run by Jane Hepsibah, is both friendly to artists and the public.

New artists are promoted on a regular basis and the atmosphere in the gallery is both relaxed and creatively exciting, an excellent place to look at work and meet the artists.

Open Weekdays 10 - 6, Saturday 10 - 2 and Sunday 1 - 5.
