Duo play their exclusive London date this Friday
Open Harp Surgery make their long-awaited annual appearance at Brooks Blues Bar.
Legend has it that Open Harp Surgery – Nigel Fiest and Russell Grooms - were loosely formed after many late night parties. These two have played the blues across England, Europe and even on top (well, within view of) Ayers Rock, proving that no-one is safe from their infectious sound.
They are committed to bring you the rawest (i.e. unrehearsed), blues you have ever tapped your foot to. With Nigel’s wailing harmonica and Russ’ dangerous guitar technique, Open Harp Surgery approach their music with talent, dedication and honesty (lets face it, they ain't fooling no-one).
This is their only, exclusive London appearance this year. We promise you an evening of uninhibited music and fun.
NB. Table bookings by email to me or phone the above number. (Booking is advisable if you want to eat ). Tables will be kept for 15 minutes after time of booking. PLEASE PHONE 020 7603 2516 IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE LATE OR CANCEL. Last food orders at 10.pm. The bar is open until midnight.
Brook Green Hotel is under new management. This means some changes at Brooks Blues Bar on Friday nights. In order to comply with fire regulations there will be fewer tables, and seating has been reduced, so you may have to share tables. The bar now closes at midnight (previously 1am), and the last food orders are 10pm (previously 10.15pm).
We hope you will accept the minor inconvenience of table sharing (it’s a way to make new friends!). Your continued support is important in keeping Brooks Blues Bar a lively part of the London music scene.
