Company presents a tribute to Hilde Holger (1905-2001)

AMICI Dance Theatre Company would like to invite you to an evening’s entertainment on Thursday 15th June, 7pm, in the Studio at Lyric Hammersmith.

A personal tribute from Wolfgang Stange to his former teacher and mentor Hilde Holger performed by AMICI members.

AMICI’s birth in 1980 and its subsequent development into an internationally acclaimed inclusive dance theatre company, is based on Hilde Holger’s philosophy, that every human being has creative potential.


Wolfgang Stange studied and worked with Hilde Holger for over 30 years and this evening will see him share his personal journey with this remarkable artist and human being.

AMICI members will show their creativity and improvisational skills, as well as, re-create some of Hilde Holger’s many choreographies.

Video excerpts of their 1996 production “Hilde” will also be screened (the full Go Nonaka film of “HILDE” will be premiered in the film theatre at the Riverside Studios at a later date).
