A night of explosive laughter and live music featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor
For one night only, Lyric Hammersmith presents HaHaHammersmith - a night of explosive laughter and live music featuring Sophie Ellis-Bextor and some of the very best in stand-up comedy.
Top comedy veteran Richard Herring, one half of Lee & Herring and writer of hit show Talking Cock (Edinburgh Fringe Festival/Soho Theatre), heads a line up including Radio 4 regular Milton Jones and the award-winning comedienne, writer and actress Lucy Porter. Joining them will be the hugely inventive Dan Antopolski, Perrier Award nominee Sarah Kendall and Time Out/Chortle award winner Will Smith.
Live music comes from pop chanteuse Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Sophie’s debut solo album, 2001’s multi-platinum Read My Lips spawned 4 hit singles including the hits Take Me Home and Murder On The Dancefloor.
HaHaHammersmith is the first event of its kind to be held at the Lyric, and is part of the Great Theatre, Shame About the Foyer! Scheme, raising funds for the Lyric’s public spaces. With a little theatre magic the Lyric will be transforming the foyer to give its audiences the experience they deserve.
