Fecund Theatre present
HELLO YOU
By John Keates

Hello You, is a play about love, life and human relationships.

Staged as a film draft - combining digital imagery and multi-layered sound - a series of seemly unconnected stories begin to accumulate and interweave with one another to reveal brief moments of human strength, humour, vulnerability and passion.

Greatly influenced by films such as Robert Altman's Short Cuts and Michael Haneke's Code Unknown, John Keates incisive writing introduces an interlocking set of young characters trying to deal with love and loneliness, boring jobs and thwarted ambition.

Hello You follows fecund Theatre's sell out production of Under Milk Wood which was nominated Time Out Critic's Choice every week of the run.

fecund is an award winning national theatre company, which over the past eight years has been developing the fusion of aural and visual technology to the traditional craft of theatre and performance skills of an actor. fecund has classified this period as an apprenticeship to its art form. The delicate and magic fusion of technology, translated in the sell-out run of UNDER MILK WOOD, was a testimony to fecund's defined and unique brand of theatre.

Hello You is at the Riverside Studios until 27 September at 7.45pm (excl Suns.) Recommended for 14 years and above. Contains some strobe effects.
