Tuition with St Peter's Singers.

St Peter’s Singers are a choir of about 35 voices from many backgrounds. They rehearse on Tuesday evenings during school terms in St Peters Church Hammersmith, where they often give
concerts. They have performed major works such as the Monteverdi Vespers in St James’s Piccadilly and have sung Masses in St Mark’s Venice and Notre Dame Paris where they
gave the first performance of Bob Chilcott’s Pange Lingua which he dedicated to the choir. In 1997 they performed the Messiah in Moscow.

The next Singing Day will be led by Deborah Miles-Johnson at the invitation of Duncan Aspden, the new Music Director. She will be helping St Peter's Singers to improve their singing as individuals within an ensemble.

Deborah Miles-Johnson has a busy and varied career as a singer, teacher and conductor. In the latter role, she has performed with many small choirs and choral societies in the UK, giving vocal and choral master-classes at a variety of summer schools. In 1999 she was appointed Associate Chorus Master of the Philharmonia Chorus. She also works regularly with the BBC Symphony Chorus. As a singer she has performed with many top conductors in main venues both in the UK and abroad.

Duncan Aspden was recently appointed as the Musical Director of the St Peter’s Singers. He is a professional conductor, organist and piano accompanist based in North London. As conductor he
has directed choirs in many of Europe's greatest ecclesiastical buildings including St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, Notre Dame in Paris and St. Paul's Cathedral. He is active as an organist and
piano accompanist, and has appeared on BBC radio and TV.
