Brand new competition comes to Lyric Square

HammersmithLondon has launched a new competition to find the world's best living statue.

The competitors will each spend two hours performing in Lyric Square over a three day period between May 13 and 15.

The public will be invited to vote for their favourite entrants, who can win a first prize of £1,000, a second prize of £500 and a third prize of £250.

All successful entrants will also receive a web page, six professional photoraphs and £25 expenses.

The voting will take place in Lyric Square over the three days Voting will close at 4pm on Saturday May 15 and the winners will be announced at 4.20pm.

The contest is open to all professional living statues, who must enter online by the closing date of May 1, and who must include a high quality digital photo with their entry.
