From Monday 1st September commuters will be welcomed by 3 bronze statues at the entrance to The Broadway Shopping Centre, Hammersmith. The life size sculptures collectively called 'ETCETERA' will be situated at the main entrance to the busy Shopping Centre and transport interchange.

The pieces by Crispin Guest, were cast at the Haligon Foundry in Paris in 1990. Nicknamed, Echo, Tango and Charlie, they were originally commissioned for The Waverley Centre in Edinburgh and were on display there until the Centre was refurbished in 1998. They then came down South, to Harrow, where they were stored until rescued by Stephen Jaffe in 2002. In July 2003 they were taken back North to Doncaster to be mounted on their new plinth designed by the sculptor, Michael Johnson. Finally, in August they were carefully positioned at their new home at the Broadway.

Stephen Jaffe, whose company Shops etc. Ltd manages The Broadway Centre in Hammersmith, said:
"We are delighted to have the statues once again displayed in a public place. Mike Johnson has designed the plinth and clustered the 3 bronzes in a sympathetic, but provocative way''

Joanna Hall, the Centre Manager at Broadway Shopping added:
"'ETCETERA' is very exciting and will bring a new focus to the Borough. It certainly does make a statement and I'm sure it will become the talked about landmark in Hammersmith."
