St Peter's School Holds Country Fair

Enjoy old-fashioned fun on Saturday in St Peter's Square

On Saturday June 20, St Peter’s Square will come alive with some old fashioned delights – with Morris dancers, traditional sweets and tea room, a test your strength game and even a Fuller’s beer tent.

The country fair is organised by the Friends of St Peter’s School and all of the funds raised on the day will be donated to the school’s new playground, which is part of the school’s ambitious redevelopment plans.

Festival organiser Andrew Zielinski, whose eight year-old son attends the school, says: “We do everything we possibly can for the school and we’re really looking forward to it.

" There’s always good support from parents and staff and I’m personally looking forward to some of the stalls. It should be a good day.”

For those feeling athletic, there will also be a football shootout, rugby competitions and a circus skills challenge.

The fun kicks off at 11am and finishes at 3pm.
